Critters

For the majority of my growing up life I was going to be a vet. The Crocodile Hunter was my man. I also watched Emergency Vet and anything Animal Planet or Discovery specials CONSTANTLY! To this day, I can name just about any dog I see and even guess what they are mixed with with pretty high accuracy. To say I love animals and wish I lived on a farm is probably an understatement. Luckily for me, I have a family that loves animals almost as much as I do.

We currently have 3 rescues. Mike, a Dachshund/Basset, Molly, a Beagle/English Spring Spaniel and May, a Jack Russell Terrier. We’ve previously had a Pekingese, Cocker Spaniel, Brittany Spaniel, English Springer Spaniel, German Shepard and have fostered a Black Lab.

Of course, Eric and I also had Penny the Shiba Inu/Shar Pei. Read her story here.

Between all of these critters, the blogging world can definitely expect some posts on the new experience of raising chickens, and living with three crazy dogs!!! I am always looking for new ideas, thoughts and tips from those with their own experience! Feel free to leave them in the comments. 🙂

PS. The zoo is one of my favoritest places IN THE WORLD!!! Aardvarks are my favorite animal.
